Our Doctor

Dr DiResta is a graduate of Boston College, he received his
Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the Temple University
School of Podiatric Medicine, and he completed his residency
training in podiatric surgery at Northlake Hospital in Illinois.
Dr DiResta received a Masters Degree in Public Health from
Dartmouth Medical School. He is board certified by the American
Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the American
College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He currently serves as a
member of the Board of Trustees of the Massachusetts Podiatric
Medical Society and is the Chair of the Public Health Committee.

Dr DiResta is on the Active Medical Staff of the Surgical Service of
the Anna Jaques Hospital where he services on the medical staff
bylaws committee. He is also a corporator of the hospital's parent
organization Seacoast Regional Health Systems. He also
maintains clinical privileges at the Merrimack Valley Hospital.

His research work involves quality improvement projects, patient
education and screenings as well as initiatives to change provider
practice behavior.
He has been instrumental in both the
development and overseeing of an ongoing joint project of the
Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Society and the Massachusetts
Public Health Association titled the “Amputation Prevention
Initiative”. This project has been accepted for presentation at the
APHA annual meeting.
